The End of a Decade

01.06.10 | Posted by: k. sean pifer

Well yet another decade has come to a close in my twenty-fifth year of existence on this planet, and in the last decade we were witness to many interesting things: celebrity deaths, election recounts, two major wars, the first African American President of the United States (yeah, that’s a big one). What about the countless leaps in Technology that have over the past decade changed the way we play games, read the news, share multimedia with each other and even keep track of what Jim is doing every second of the day with Twitter.

I’m not going to do one of those cliche countdown lists that every other blog or news site on the webosphere is posting right now, instead I am going to leave you with a quote to start of this new year with.

“The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities. We need men who can dream of things that never were and ask “why not?” ”
-John F. Kennedy
