I have always been uncontrollably drawn to zombie movies, thus it was a no brainier that when I saw 28 Weeks Later, the sequel to 28 Days Later, was coming to theaters I had to see it.
Basically it is 28 weeks after the first outbreak of the rage virus, and all of the infected in great Brittan have died of starvation. Now, the US government is in charge of rebuilding and bringing people back to one “safe zone” in Brittan, but when they find a survivor that is infected with the virus all hell breaks loose once again.
28 Weeks Later is an excellently written and directed movie, with a glorious amount of blood and zombie feeding to sink your teeth into, pun intended. A must see summer movie.
